Dragonfly Innovation

WardWilliams Creative client Andy Caccia has been making headlines with his company Animal Dynamics.

Animal Dynamics are in the final stages of being awarded an innovation grant from the MOD to develop a unique “Skeeter micro-drone” that mimics the movement of a dragonfly.  The innovation fund, which is described as a James Bond meets Dragons Den panel, is aimed at companies and individuals focused on pushing the boundaries of future design engineering.  If you missed our blog on AnDy you can read further here, and below are a couple of the articles that have hit the presses about the company and their Dragonfly Drone:

Creative Shootout Call to Action

UK Shootout officially launches for entries on Monday 19th September 2016, make sure you keep up to date at www.creativeshootout.com.  As always teams enter in just 60 seconds – in any format. The big news this year is that it’s open to every marketing discipline (whether agency or in house). Haymarket Media Group is the official Media Partner – via Campaign, campaignlive and prweek.com.

Mental illness is the cause this year and Creative Shootout are pleased to confirm that the UK’s two largest mental health charities, MIND and Rethink Mental Illness, will be providing a brief on a high profile joint initiative they run.  Particularly relevant, given the subject of mental illness in the news over the last 12 months or so.
