Creative Shootout has officially kicked off. Following the success of last year, the Creative Shootout is fast becoming the most talked about creative marketing awards programme. This year the competition has expanded and is open to agency and in house teams from any marketing discipline – and done in a day, it’s backed by major industry associations and some influential partners and supporters.
If you work for an agency or an in house team in any marketing discipline and would like to be considered for the Live Final in London on Thursday 19th January 2017, you need to enter via the Creative Shootout website. You will have 60 seconds to convince the judges why you have the creative clout for Mind and Rethink Mental Illness.
The 60 seconds can contain anything, in any format, but it must be read, viewed or digested in 60 seconds. Last year they had show-reels, apps, videos, music tracks, emails, imagery and even a cake! Think hard about how you’ll showcase your team’s creativity in 60 seconds.

The Creative Shootout highlights important issues, last year was children’s charity Unicef, this year sees a joint initiative run by the UK’s two largest mental health charities, Mind and Rethink Mental Illness.Mind. Jo Loughran from Mind and Rethink Mental Illness says:
“For us, creativity is a major driver in our organisation. It’s critical we’re creative in our thinking to help shine a light on the stigma of mental health. The Creative Shootout is an awesome idea that celebrates great thinking in a radical new format. It’ll hopefully help change perception of mental health, too.”
